Veteran actor James Handy’s passing has raised a lot of questions about what really happened to him. In a recent interview, his girlfriend has opened up about the matter, and has even revealed details about the actor’s last moments before he was fatally stabbed.

While in conversation with The Daily Mail, Wendy Gledhill, Handy’s girlfriend, talked about her late partner and even revealed details about his last moments before passing. She shared that the actor had gone out to the front lawn of his home in order to grab the newspaper that was left there every morning.

She added, “James had gotten up to get the newspaper at about 9 o'clock, but he didn't make the coffee like he usually does. I just heard the door open because he was getting the paper.”

In relation to the case, Gledhill’s 44 year old sn, Michael, has been arrested for the alleged murder of the ‘Top Gun’ actor. Further on, she shared that “I can only assume my son was already out there and they started to argue, from my understanding, on the front yard.” Other than that, she even revealed that her son had been diagnosed with Schizophrenia, though he had stopped taking his medications only a few days before the incident occurred.

“The first time I heard something was happening was when the police showed up. They said someone had called 911 and they told me someone was wrapped in a blanket outside the house”, she had shared with the outlet.

In another interview with California Post, she had shared that she was still dealing with the shock of everything that had happened. She had further added at the time that she was “just trying to make it through one day at a time, a minute at a time. I loved James and my son. I still can't believe it.”

The actor passed away on the morning of June 3, after he was found, fatally wounded because of stab wounds on the front lawn of his home in Tarzana, California. The authorities were called to the house on Erwin Street after Michael called 911. As per the reports, the man can be heard saying, “I am the son of man, I just killed the man of sin.” It was shared that when the police reached the scene, the ‘NYPD Blue’ actor was “unconscious and suffering from a stab wound to his chest.” Later on, he was rushed to a nearby hospital, though doctors stated that he had already passed away.

The outlet also reported that Gledhill tracked down authorities in the neighbouring area, and told them that he was the one that they were looking for. Following his arrest, Michael has been charged with one count of murder with a special allegation. It was revealed that he had allegedly used a knife in order to stab the actor.
