More about Mickey Rourke’s eviction from his home based in Los Angeles

On December 29, it was reported that the idol had been served with an official eviction notice from his landlord, Goldie.
In court, the final judgment was filed in default in Goldie’s favor, with the court approving his request to evict Rourke. Initially, there had been no mention of the overdue rent that the celebrity owed Goldie. Soon after the news was shared online, Liya-Joelle Jones, an alleged member of Rourke’s management team as well as a friend, had started a fundraiser page for him. Later, Rourke shut this down and posted a video to his account, clarifying everything. In the video, he stated that “Somebody set up some kind of foundation or fund for me to donate money— like in a charity—and that's not me. If I needed money, I wouldn't ask for no f***** charity. I'd rather stick a gun up my ass and pull the trigger.”
