Monalisa

Antara Biswas, who is popularly known by her stage name Monalisa, is mainly active in Bhojpuri cinema and has done over 125 Bhojpuri films. She was born to a Bengali family and brought up in Calcutta. On the eve of Fathers’ Day, the actress shared her father’s picture with a heartfelt message, which read, ‘My Father Gave Me The Greatest Gift…Anyone Could Give Another Person…HE BELIEVED IN ME….happy Fathers day…#happy #blessed’.

Monalisa has also worked in some Bollywood movies with popular stars such as in ‘Blackmail’ with Ajay Devgn and in ‘Money Hai Toh Honey Hai’ with Govinda.

Ravi Kishan

One of the successful actors of Bhojpuri cinema Ravi Kishan posted a throwback picture of himself with his father on Fathers’ Day and wrote, ‘Bhagwan nahi dekha aaj tak personally “Ha” inmey zaroor dekha hai (happy Father’s day)’.

Ravi has worked in several languages movies such as Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Bhojpuri. In Bollywood, he is known for his role of Rameshwar in Salman Khan’s blockbuster ‘Tere Naam’ in 2003.

Amrapali Dubey

Bhojpuri queen Amrapali Dubey, who always active on social media shares a picture with her father on Fathers’ Day, captioning, ‘Happy Father day to my superhero…I love you dada’.

She made her Bhojpuri debut in 2014 with a leading role in the film ‘Nirahua Hindustani’ opposite superstar Dinesh Lal Yadav. She even received the best debut actress award for the film ‘Nirahua Hindustani’. Till date, she has become one of the highest paid actresses of Bhojpuri industry. Recently, Amrapali was seen in hit Bhojpuri movie ‘Border’ in a lead role with Nirahua.

Akshara Singh

Akshara Singh, who mainly plays a role in opposite with superstar Pawan Singh, uploaded a selfie with her father and captioned it as, ‘Happy fathers day people…You always stood by me at all times, you have made the world a better place…Thankyou papa’.

Akshara started her acting career in 2011 with Bhojpuri film ‘Pran Jaye Par Vachan Na Jaye’. An actress also gave her voice in Bhojpuri song album ‘dil Bole Bam Bam Bam’.

Shubhi Sharma

Bhojpuri actress Shubhi Sharma, who is known for item songs in Bhojpuri industry, shared a picture with her father and captioned it as, ‘You carried me in your arms when I was little and held my hand while I was growing up. Dad I am going to be your pillar when you are old and I will carry you in my heart until I die. Thanks for everything. Happy Father’s Day!’.

Shubhi has also done an item song titled, ’20 – 20’ with Bollywood star John Abraham in ‘Welcome Back’. In Bhojpuri, she is known for her role in ‘Chalni Ke Chaalal Dulha’ opposite Dinesh Lal Yadav’.
