Biraj Bhatt who is mainly known for his Nepali films has also worked in several hit Bhojpuri movies. He started his acting with a supporting role in the film 'Khukuri' and later in 2007 stepped into Bhojpuri cinema with the film 'Lagal Raha Ye Raja Ji'. 'Himmatwala'

The story of the film 'Himmatwala' is based on a boy and a girl with different dreams and desires. They both fall for each other and get married but after marriage, they face a lot of difficulties. However, they become each other’s helping hands and later achieve success in their lives. It was penned, directed and even produced by Ramakant Prasad. The movie features Viraj Bhatt, Tanushree Chatterji, Priya Sharma, Superna Singh and Anil Yadav.

'Gunday'

'Gunday' is an action-drama starring Biraj Bhatt and Rani Chatterjee in lead roles. In the film, Biraj was seen as an aggressive person and also performed some high action scenes. Other Bhojpuri stars such as Anjana Singh, Pragya Tiwari, Vividha Kirti, Manoj Tiger, Sanjay Pandey and Raees Khan played supporting roles in the film. The story of the film was penned by Indrajeet S. Kumar and it was directed by Bali. The music of 'Gunday' was composed by Damodar Rao, Shyam Dehati and Ganesh Pandey.

'Jaan Tere Naam'

'Jaan Tere Naam' features popular Bhojpuri singer-actor Khesari Lal Yadav and Biraj Bhatt in lead roles. In the film, the duo was seen fighting for their respective lovers and performed some great action scenes. 'Jaan Tere Naam' was helmed and produced by Ramakant Prasad. An action-romantic-drama, it was written by Manoj. K. Kushwala while music was composed by Ashok Kumar Deep.

'Laagi Tohse Lagan'

'Laagi Tohse Lagan' is a love triangle between Yash Kumar Mishra, Viraj Bhatt and Kajal Raghvani. In the film, Biraj and Yash were seen struggling to prove their love towards Kajal. The film is directed by Ravi H. Kashyap and produced by Santosh Kumar Thakur. The music of 'Laagi Tohse Lagan' is composed by S. Kumar.

'Piyawa Bada Satawela'

'Piyawa Bada Satawela' features Bhojpuri megastar Ravi Kishan, Biraj Bhatt and Rani Chatterjee in lead roles. Directed by Rajkumar R. Pandey, the film was recorded as a hit at the box office. Popular stars Pradeep Pandey and Kreesha Khandelwal also played pivotal roles in the film. The story of the film was written by Santosh Mishra while jointly produced by Vinod Gupta and Ankit Shah. The music of the film was composed by Madhukar Anand while the lyricists were Vinay Bihari, Pyare Lal Yadav and R.R. Pankaj.
