Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh faced criticism after a video showed him touching actress Anjali Raghav’s waist without her permission at an event. Anjali looked uncomfortable but did not stop him immediately, as she thought something was stuck to her outfit. Later, she expressed her pain and said she would quit the Bhojpuri industry. Aamrapali Dubey called the incident shameful and said Anjali should have reported it right away.Aamrapali’s reaction to an incidentTalking to Siddharth Kannan on his YouTube channel, Aamrapali expressed her sadness about the incident. She said, “As a woman, I was feeling disgraced. No woman should have to go through this. Pawan Singh issued an apology afterwards and I felt like calling him up and asking him what happened but then I felt that I shouldn’t. I felt like giving a call to Anjali and telling her that you should work with decent people, and don’t judge everyone in the industry by one person’s actions."

Call for immediate legal actionAamrapali emphasized that Anjali should have immediately approached the authorities, saying, “This happened in Lucknow. Do you know UP police? They will take anyone to task. We have seen UP police in action. You should have complained there and then.”
She also criticized Pawan’s claim that he was merely trying to remove a black spot from Anjali’s waist, stating, “I can believe that his intentions weren’t bad. But you can’t claim that afterwards, you need to ask the woman before you touch her without her consent."Pre-show conversationBefore Pawan’s appearance on the reality show ‘Rise and Fall’, Aamrapali revealed she had a talk with him. She said, “I called him before he went on the show. I told him that before you share a stage with anyone, you should have a contract with them,” later explaining that she was being sarcastic about the "contract." Aamrapali added that Pawan accepted his mistake, saying, “Pawan said this was a big mistake. He said, ‘I shouldn’t have done it’.
