Badoli has been facing protests since he started his campaign in villages of all the three assembly segments of Jind district that fall under the Sonipat parliamentary constituency.
Farmers asked Badoli to leave the village, saying that he had remained silent when the farmers had lost their lives during the 2020-21 protest against the now repealed three farm laws.
They said out of over 100 farmers from Haryana who lost their lives during the protest, 19 were from Jind district, but BJP leaders remained silent on the issue.
