In Dantan, Ajit Kumar Jana of the BJP secured a closely fought victory, polling 1,10,259 votes and defeating TMC’s Manik Maiti by a margin of 10,376 votes. CPI’s Shyamal Kanti Daspattanayek finished third with 3,580 votes, as the constituency witnessed a competitive contest ending in a BJP win.

In the Dantan constituency of West Bengal, counting is still underway with no result declared yet. BJP's Ajit Kumar Jana currently holds the lead with 88,974 votes, while TMC's Manik Maiti is trailing at 79,970 votes. The margin between the two stands at 9,004 votes at this stage of counting.

The Congress has fielded Utpal Datta in Dantan. As votes cast are now being counted, the final result will show how the party has performed in this constituency.
