CHENNAI: KMDK president E R Eswaran said on Saturday that TVK president Vijay ate into AIADMK vote share. Eswaran met chief minister M K Stalin at DMK headquarters here.
He later told reporters that TVK might get around 20% of votes, and it would largely be AIADMK's votes.
"Due to AIADMK's weak leadership, Vijay ate into AIADMK's vote share. People are aware that AIADMK general secretary (Edappadi K Palaniswami) is acting according to instructions of BJP. Also, those in AIADMK, who didn't like their alliance with BJP, would have voted for TVK," Eswaran said.
"As far as our (DMK alliance) votes are concerned, it is intact as we have won all the elections (from 2019)."
