In Madathukulam, R Jayaramakrishnan of DMK emerged victorious, polling 70,458 votes and defeating AMMK’s C Shanmugavelu by a margin of 15,968 votes. TVK’s R Thirumalai secured 52,684 votes to finish third, as the constituency saw a strong performance from the DMK.

In the Madathukulam constituency of Tamil Nadu, DMK's R Jayaramakrishnan is currently leading the count with 40,155 votes, holding a margin of 5,807 over AMMK's C Shanmugavelu, who has gathered 34,348 votes so far. Counting is still underway and no result has been declared yet in this seat.
