The result is in from Mannarkad in Kerala. IUML candidate Adv. N. Samsudheen has won the seat, defeating CPI's Manzil Aboobacker by a margin of 25,903 votes. Samsudheen polled 90,606 votes against Aboobacker's 64,703, bringing the contest in this Kerala constituency to a decisive close.

In Mannarkad, counting is under way with IUML's Adv. N. Samsudheen holding a lead over CPI's Manzil Aboobacker. Samsudheen has accumulated 19,131 votes against Aboobacker's 12,078, putting the margin between the two at 7,053 votes. The result in this Kerala constituency is yet to be declared.
