Ullas Kovur of the Revolutionary Socialist Party builds massive lead of 20,268 votes over Kovoor Kunjumon of the Revolutionary Socialist Party (Leninist-Marxist) after twelve of seventeen rounds of counting.

In Kunnathur, counting is still under way with RSP's Ullas Kovur holding the lead on 22,327 votes. Incumbent Kovoor Kunjumon of KRSP(LM) is trailing at 16,588 votes, putting the current margin between the two at 5,739. The result for this Kerala constituency is yet to be declared.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded Raji Prasad in Kunnathur. As votes cast are now being counted, the final result will show how the party has performed in this constituency.
