UPSSSC Excise Constable notification 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the notification for recruitment of Excise Constables in the year 2026. Advertisement No. 08-Pariksha/2026 reveals a total number of 722 posts of Excise Constables available under the Office of the Excise Commissioner, Uttar Pradesh, Prayagraj.
Candidates who wish to apply for this recruitment should have appeared in the PET (Preliminary Eligibility Test)-2025 and should hold a valid score card. The examination process includes a written test and physical tests. Candidates can submit their applications online from June 04, 2026, to June 24, 2026.
Key information and application procedureCandidates need to check their eligibility criteria such as education qualification, age, reservation policy, and physical standards before submitting applications. The minimum education qualification required for this recruitment is Intermediate (10+2) from Uttar Pradesh Board or any other recognised board. The maximum age limit for candidates should not exceed 18 to 40 years as on July 01, 2026, but relaxation is allowed for reserved categories and state employees. Candidates holding NCC B Certificate and two years of service in the Territorial Army would get preference.
The application form must be filled online at the official website of UPSSSC, which is upsssc.gov.in. Candidates have to log in by entering their PET-2025 roll number and OTP. Personal, academic, and other relevant information must be filled in correctly. Photographs and signatures uploaded during PET-2025 will automatically get populated and cannot be modified. The application fee will have to be paid online. A printed copy of the application form must be kept for future references.
