MHT CET 2026: Registration deadline extended for 5-year LLB course; check new dates
MHT CET 2026: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has extended the registration deadline for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2026 for the five-year Bachelor of Laws (LLB) programme.
Interested and eligible candidates can now submit the MH CET Law 2026 application form till March 15, 2026. The registration process is being conducted online through the official website cetcell.mahacet.org.
As per the official schedule released by the State CET Cell, the MH CET LLB five-year entrance exam will be held on May 8, 2026.
Candidates are advised to complete the registration process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.

MHT CET Application fee details
To complete the registration process, candidates are required to pay the following application fee:
- Open category, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) candidates: Rs 1,000
- Reserved category candidates: Rs 800
The fee must be paid online while submitting the application form.
Eligibility criteria for MH CET LLB 2026
Candidates applying for the MH CET LLB five-year course must meet the following eligibility conditions:
- Must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board
- 45% aggregate marks for open category candidates
- 40% aggregate marks for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates
- 42% aggregate marks for VJNT, Special Backward Class (SBC), Other Backward Class (OBC), and EWS categories
Only candidates who meet the eligibility requirements should apply.
