2. Click on “New Registration” and create an account.
3. Fill in personal, academic and contact details.
4. Upload scanned copies of required documents, photograph and signature.
5. Pay the application fee online through debit card, credit card or net banking.
6. Submit the form and download the confirmation page.

Fresh admission for January 2026 session

IGNOU has extended the deadline for admission to both ODL and Online programmes till February 28, 2026. The extension has been applied to a number of courses such as BA, BCom, BSc, MA, MCom, MBA, and Diplomas.

The university conducts admissions twice a year, in January and July sessions. For the January 2026 cycle, students now have additional time to submit their forms. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria, fee structure and course details before applying.
