Assam HSLC Rechecking 2026: Following the declaration of HSLC Result 2026, students now have the option to apply for re-checking of their answer scripts through the official portal of Assam State School Education Board. The results this year saw a pass percentage of 65.62%, slightly better than last year.With over 4.29 lakh candidates appearing in the examination, 85,189 students secured first division, while thousands also achieved distinction and star marks. Despite this, many students may seek verification of their scores.What re-checking includesRe-checking does not mean re-evaluation. It involves re-totaling of marks, checking for unevaluated answers, and correcting any marking or entry errors.Application processStudents must apply online through the official website by selecting the “Re-checking & Scanned Copy” option. They need to choose subjects, fill required details, and pay fees online.Fee detailsThe fee for re-checking along with scanned copy of answer scripts is Rs 400 per subject. Only theory papers are included under this process.
