Sports fest held at MSU

Vadodara: The Halls of Residence of the Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) organized the Inter-Hostel Sports Fest 2026 at the university pavilion on Friday, witnessing enthusiastic participation from around 700 students representing 16 hostels.The sports fest was inaugurated by the MSU vice-chancellor. A wide range of indoor and outdoor events were conducted, including kho-kho, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, chess and carrom, along with athletics events such as long jump, shot put, javelin throw, and 100-meter and 400-meter races.
The concluding ceremony was held in the presence of the MSU registrar, during which winners were awarded trophies and certificates.In the boys' hostel category, M V Hall emerged as the top performer by securing the highest number of trophies, while S D Hall topped the girls' hostel category.
