Chatra: Lawalong police station have arrested one Heera Munda in connection to the murder of Guddu Munda whose body was found on May 22, after he had gone missing on March 30. The body was hidden beneath the soil in a forest area between Mandhaniya and Hahe villages.
Officer in-charge of local police station Chandan Kumar on Wednesday said that the arrest was made on Tuesday. “Heera hails from Tungun village,” he said adding that police have also recovered the murder weapon based on the confessional statement of another key accused Rakesh Munda, who surrendered in the court last week.
