MSME ministry holds vendor development prog in H’bag
Hazaribag: The ministry of micro, small & medium enterprises, Govt of India, organised an entrepreneur awareness & special vendor development programme with the PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry at Nagar Bhawan, Hazaribag, on Thursday. The event focused on ministry initiatives, including the National SC-ST Hub Scheme, and on helping central ministries, departments and CPSEs meet the mandated 4% procurement target under the public procurement policy.More than 107-109 aspiring and existing entrepreneurs attended the programme. Participants were informed about Udyam Portal registration, vendor registration procedures, documentation, items procured by CPSEs, e-tendering, credit facilitation and subsidy support through banks.Indrajeet Yadav, director, MSME-DFO, was the chief guest. Kiran Maria Tiru, SBM, NSSHO Ranchi, said the policy mandated "4% public procurement from SC/ST-owned MSEs and 3% from Women MSEs".
