Govt appoints Anjani Kumar CM’s adviser

PATNA

: A day after retiring from the post of state’s chief secretary, Anjani Kumar Singh was on Friday appointed as the

CM

’s

adviser

(policy and programme implementation).

A 1981-batch IAS officer,

Singh

will enjoy the status and facilities of a cabinet minister, an official notification said, adding Singh as adviser would provide necessary advice and assistance to the CM in finalization and implementation of policies, resolutions and programmes for the state’s development.

Also, Singh can be given other responsibilities related to policies, plans and programmes as and when needed.
