Hassan ZP CEO flags drinking water issues as top priority
Hassan: Hassan zilla panchayat’s newly appointed chief executive officer, Shubham Shukla, said his priority is to address drinking water issues and drive development in the district.
Shukla took charge at the ZP office on Thursday and said all-round progress would be ensured within the ZP’s jurisdiction. “I will work in coordination with the district administration and all elected representatives and strive to deliver effective results with everyone’s cooperation,” he said.
“The govt has already issued guidelines to all deputy commissioners, ZP CEOs and other officials regarding the drinking water situation in the district. Directions have been given to ensure there is no water crisis. We will hold discussions with all officers and take appropriate action,” he said.
He added that priority would be given to resolving drinking water problems in every village across the district.
