Night travel ban in Idukki
Idukki: In view of India meteorological department’s (IMD) heavy rainfall alert, Idukki district collector Dinesan Cheruvat imposed a night travel ban in the hilly regions of the district.
The collector directed district police chief, regional transport officer, sub-divisional magistrates and tahsildars to ensure strict implementation of the order.
