Unveiling of the new ICA logo and launch of the inaugural ICA newsletter at Hyderabad Chapter Meeting
The Indian Cricketers’ Association (ICA) has officially unveiled its new logo and launched the inaugural edition of the ICA Member Newsletter (Vol. 1, Issue 1) at its Hyderabad chapter meeting on June 8, 2026.
The newsletter has been envisioned as a platform to strengthen ICA connection with the cricketing fraternity, keep members informed about welfare initiatives, share important updates, celebrate achievements, and preserve the rich legacy and stories of former cricketers. This first edition also carries inspiring messages from distinguished members of the cricket community, reflecting the collective spirit and purpose of ICA.
The Hyderabad chapter meeting of the ICA was successfully conducted with the enthusiastic participation of more than 40 former men and women cricketers who are members of the ICA.
The meeting provided an excellent platform for members to interact and stay informed about the various initiatives being undertaken by the ICA in collaboration with the Board of Control for Cricket in India for the welfare of former cricketers.
Key discussions focused on:
* Welfare measures and support programs for former cricketers.
* Financial assistance schemes available to eligible members.
* Medical support and healthcare initiatives being extended through ICA and BCCI.
* Future plans aimed at strengthening engagement and enhancing the well-being of former players.
The interactive session was well received by the members, who appreciated the continued efforts of the ICA and BCCI in safeguarding the interests and welfare of former cricketers while fostering a stronger sense of community among cricketing veterans.
