Indian Army showcases advanced tech capabilities in desert warfare during Rajasthan review
JAISALMER: The Indian Army conducted demonstrations in Rajasthan showcasing how emerging technologies are being used to enhance situational awareness, decision-making, and operational efficiency in desert warfare conditions.
General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C), Southern Command, Lieutenant General Sandeep Jain, carried out a strategic visit to forward desert areas, where he reviewed the operational preparedness and technological advancements of the Golden Katar Division.
The visit highlights the Indian Army’s continued focus on strengthening combat readiness in challenging terrains and evolving warfare scenarios.
During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on the division’s efforts to adopt advanced technologies and integrate them into field operations. A key focus was on refining Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) through the use of modern systems, including surveillance, communication, and battlefield management tools.
