Randhawa challenges Kejriwal’s education claims
Chandigarh: Political sparring between the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress over education has intensified in Punjab, with Gurdaspur MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa questioning the AAP national convener, Arvind Kejriwal, for his claims that major improvements in the state's education sector were the result of the AAP govt's efforts.Sharing a post on the social media platform X, Randhawa said Punjab had already become the No. 1 state in the country in school education during the Congress govt's tenure in 2019-20. The former deputy CM stated that the AAP was in power in Delhi at that time, yet the national capital ranked behind Punjab in educational performance. The Congress MP further claimed that Punjab maintained its strong position in 2021-22 as well.Randhawa also advised Kejriwal to rely on facts rather than political publicity. He wrote, "Arvind Kejriwal, facts speak, not propaganda."MSID:: 131464784 413 |
