BJP guided by ideology, not dynastic politics: Badoli
Chandigarh: State president Mohan Lal Badoli on Sunday said that the BJP is guided by ideology and nationalism, rather than dynastic politics. Addressing party workers in Ambala, Badoli said the BJP's objective is not merely to attain power, but to awaken national consciousness and connect every section of society with nation-building.Speaking on the history and growth of the BJP, Badoli said every party worker should be aware of the organisation's legacy and ideological roots. He said the journey that began with the Bharatiya Jana Sangh has transformed the BJP into the world's largest political organisation. He added that the party has always prioritised national interest through struggle, dedication and commitment to ideology.Targeting the Congress, Badoli alleged that appeasement politics after Independence pushed the country towards corruption and poverty for decades. He said the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was established to unite the nation, while the Jana Sangh was formed later to provide a nationalist political alternative. He highlighted that the BJP, founded on April 6, 1980, has grown from a party with two MPs. Referring to the abrogation of Article 370 under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Badoli said the BJP government govt strengthened national unity by fulfilling long-standing ideological commitments. He also cited the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and the abolition of triple talaq as historic decisions.BJP national secretary Om Prakash Dhankar stressed that workers are the real strength of the organisation, while minister Ranbir Gangwa highlighted welfare schemes for the poor, farmers, women and youth. Former minister Kanwar Pal Gurjar said the country is progressing strongly under Modi's leadership and urged workers to spread awareness and positivity in society. MSID: 131293074 413 |
