President to take holy dip at Triveni Sangam today

Prayagraj: President Droupadi Murmu will visit the Maha Kumbh and take holy dip in Triveni Sangam on Monday. To experience the Maha Kumbh's grandeur and spiritual significance, she will halt there for eight hours.
Murmu will offer prayers at Akshayavat and Bade Hanuman Temple in the presence of Chief minister Yogi Adityanath.
The President will begin her day at Sangam Nose and take ceremonial dip at the Triveni Sangam, where country's first President, Dr Rajendra Prasad, had taken a holy dip during Kumbh in the past too.
Murmu will visit the sacred Akshayavat tree, symbol of immortality in Sanatan culture, and offer her prayers and will also visit Bade Hanuman Temple.
Supporting the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister Yogi Adityanath to integrate religious events with modern technology, Murmu will visit the Digital Mahakumbh Experience Centre, which provides detailed information about the Mela through advanced digital tools, allowing devotees from India and abroad to experience the grandeur of the event more closely.
In view of the President's visit, elaborate security arrangements have been put in place across the Sangam city.
