Admin gears up for UP Police Constable recruitment written exam
Prayagraj: Top police and administrative officials have made all preparations for smooth, uninterrupted and fair conduct of the written examination for direct recruitment to the posts of civil police constable and equivalent ranks in the Uttar Pradesh Police (Recruitment-2025), scheduled for June 8, 9, and 10 by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow.
District Magistrate (Prayagraj) Manish Kumar Verma has issued a set of directives to sector magistrates, static magistrates, centre superintendents, deputy-centre superintendents and other officials to conduct the examination with a sense of responsibility and sensitivity, ensuring it remains smooth and free from malpractice. He also directed the appointed sector magistrates to ensure that confidential materials are received only under CCTV surveillance and in the presence of the static magistrate and centre superintendent.
They were also instructed to remain active across their assigned centres during the exam and to ensure that, upon conclusion, the confidential materials are deposited in a ‘double-lock’ system under police custody via the designated route. DM emphasized that any negligence in this regard would not be tolerated and strict action would be taken against those trying to compromise the integrity of the examination.
