Tata Curvv.ev gets cheaper! New SeriesX trims launched from Rs 16.99 lakh
Tata Motors has expanded its mid-size EV portfolio with the launch of the Curvv.ev SeriesX range. The new lineup introduces more accessible variants of the long-range version, with prices starting at Rs 16.99 lakh, ex-showroom.
The Curvv.ev SeriesX is offered in two primary trims: Accomplished X 55 and Empowered X 55, priced at Rs 16.99 lakh and Rs 19.19 lakh, respectively. Additionally, the Empowered X 55 Dark Edition has been launched at Rs 19.49 lakh, ex-showroom. All variants are powered by a 55kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed ARAI-certified range of 502 km, while the real-world range is estimated at around 400 km as per Tata Motor’s internal testing.
The Curvv.ev SeriesX produces 167 hp and 215 Nm of torque. The company is also offering a lifetime high-voltage battery warranty. The model continues with its SUV-coupe design language and is now available in five colour options, including the newly introduced Nitro Crimson shade along with the Dark edition.
The Accomplished X 55 comes equipped with a panoramic sunroof, dual 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and instrumentation, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 360-degree camera with blind-spot monitoring. It also gets ventilated seats, leatherette upholstery and rear sunshades.
The top-spec Empowered X 55 builds on this package with a stronger focus on premium features and technology. It adds front seat active ventilation, a 6-way power-adjustable driver seat and reclining rear seats. The cabin also features a larger Harman infotainment system, JBL 9-speaker audio setup with subwoofer, and the Arcade.ev app suite.
On the safety front, the Empowered variant offers Level 2 ADAS with 20 features. It also gets additions such as 18-inch alloy wheels, vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-load functions, a gesture-controlled powered tailgate, and dynamic lighting elements.
