2023 Kia Seltos variants-wise features with prices explained in images

Kia India recently launched the much anticipated Kia Seltos SUV to the Indian market. The price for the new Seltos starts from Rs 10.89 lakh and goes up to 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV will have 18 variants and three engine options - a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine and a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine.

The HTE is the entry-level variant of the Seltos SUV. The HTE variant is available in 1.5-litre NA petrol and 1.5-litre turbo diesel and will not be offered with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine.

The HTE variant is available in 1.5-litre NA petrol and 1.5-litre turbo diesel and will not be offered with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. It gets all the features mentioned in the HTE variant. Additionally, it gets a silver roof rack, projector fog lamps, front, and rear mudguards and indicators on ORVMs.

Next comes an HTK plus variant which is offered with all three engine options. This variant gets all the features mentioned in HTK. Additionally, this variant panoramic sunroof (only in turbo petrol), 16-inch alloys, a leatherette-wrapped gear knob, sound mood light, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering mounted controls, all door speakers, push-button start, remote start, front parking sensors, rearview camera, electric adjustable ORVMs, Automatic AC, rear de-fogger with rear wipers and cruise control.

The HTX variant is only offered with 1.5-litre NA petrol and 1.5-litre turbo diesel. In addition to HTK plus, this variant gets a panoramic sunroof, LED headlamps, LED connecting taillamps, sequential turn indicators, glossy black front grille, 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-tone interiors with soft-touch materials and leatherette seats.

The HTX Plus additionally gets a glossy black rear spoiler, all-black interiors with brown inserts, air purifier, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, fully digital instrument cluster, Kia connects with Amazon Alexa, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, drive mode and traction mode (Automatic variants), front ventilated seats, 8-way adjustable powered driver seat and BOSE eight-speaker system.

Next comes the GTX Plus variant. This variant additionally gets features such as 18-inch alloy wheels, GT line body kit, dual exhaust (1.5 turbo petrol), glossy black roof rack, all-black interiors with white inserts, D-cut steering wheel with GT line logo, sporty alloy pedals, sliding cup holder cover and all-black roof lining.

Next comes the top-of-the-line X-line variant. The X-line gets all the features mentioned in previous variants. Additional features include a matte graphite radiator grille, glossy black ORVM, all-black interiors with sage green inserts, sage green leatherette seats, glossy black front and rear skid plates.

This variant also gets Level-2 ADAS with 17 autonomous features, 360-degree camera with blind view monitor in the cluster, electric parking brake with auto hold and automatic rain sensing wipers.

Standard safety features across all variants include - ESC (Electronic stability control, VSM (Vehicle stability management, six airbags, ABS (Anti-lock-braking system), BAS (Brake assist system), all-wheel disc brakes, ESS (emergency stop signal), TPMS, rear parking sensors, speed and impact sensing auto door locks and all seat 3-point seat belts.
