Ankit Gera in Bigg Boss 9 Double Trouble

Ankit Gera: They should have paired me with a girl: I believe people wanted to see me interacting or digging the past with my ex Roopal Tyagi, who was also on the show, but it was not up my alley. Also, my pairing with Arvind Vegda was bad. My partner, with whom I was tied up all the time, wasn’t interesting at all. He was never interested in any drama happening inside the house. Though he is a good human being and I love him, the creative team should have planned something better for me. They should have paired me with a girl instead as I was touted as the Casanova, and they should have kept me inside the house for at least one more week. The feedback I got from people after my eviction was that I was quiet, which was wrong as I was having a lot of fun inside.

Don't want to patch-up with Roopal: Ankit Gera

TV actor, Ankit Gera who entered the 'Bigg Boss house' with a bang is eliminated from the reality show and the actor says he didn't expect his elimination in the first week. "I won't call it shocking but I didn't expect my elimination in the first week. It's difficult to believe that out of the 15 contestants, I got the less number of votes. However, I am hopeful to return back as a wildcard contestant because I am contractually still with Bigg Boss."

Ankit, who hogged all the limelight because of his eventful past and his ex Roopal being a co-contestant on the show, says he doesn't want to patch-up with her. "I don't want to patch-up with her. Whatever happened was in the past and I don't wish to bring my past in the present. As person we all change with time. I have moved on in life."

On being informed that his ex Roopal was not very happy with him being around in the 'Bigg Boss' house and was often seen discussing the break-up, "I had no intentions of making her uncomfortable nor I was taunting her. I was just joking with Digangana but if she still wants to bitch about me, she can. If she was not comfortable with me joking, she could have directly told that to me. For me everything is over and I can change somebody's nature if they like talking about someone at their back, they will do it and I can't stop."

Ankit says, that the show 'Bigg Boss' has changed him as a person, "I had a wonderful time in the Bigg Boss house. It is a very different experience and I have lived life in the house the way I wanted. I never spoke against anyone behind the back. It has changed me as person."

The 'Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke' actor thinks that Keith Sequeira and Mandana are playing a very safe and smart game, "I think they are playing a very safe and smart game. The love traingle is purposely created to grab eyeballs. Rochelle is very understanding and she knows Mandana and Keith's partnership is very strong. Also Keith is a very strong person he won't do anything which can make him answerable on the national television."

Ankit believes that everyone in the 'Bigg Boss' house is faking and if he returns to the show he will try not to make friends, "Nobody is real in the house everyone is faking. Everyone in the house is playing their own game. If I return to the show, firstly I will change my partner and I won't make friends. Because nobody has come to the show to make friends. I will concentrate on my game more if I return," said the young lad.

Ankit Gera clueless about co-existence with Roopal Tyagi in ‘Bigg Boss 9’: Former couple Ankit Gera and Roopal Tyagi are co-contestants on “Bigg Boss Nau”, and the actor says though he shares ‘cordial’ professional terms with his former girlfriend, he is not sure how they will live under one roof. “I have a normal relationship with Roopal Tyagi and have never spoken about what happened between us to anybody. We have worked together and share cordial relationship. But here (‘Bigg Boss’ house) we are staying together and we have never have done this, so let’s see what happens,” Ankit told IANS over phone from Lonavla before entering the ‘Bigg Boss’ house.
