NEW DELHI: The St. Louis Blues had a commanding 8-2 victory over the Colorado Avalanche, with Brayden Schenn and Pavel Buchnevich each securing hat tricks. Schenn, who also contributed an assist, now boasts four career hat tricks, while Buchnevich, who had two short-handed goals, has three career hat tricks. Torey Krug, Alexey Toropchenko, and Robert Thomas also made significant contributions for the Blues, and Jordan Binnington made 36 saves.
In overtime, the Montreal Canadiens clinched a 3-2 win against the Boston Bruins, with Kaiden Guhle's backhand goal at 2:13.
Nick Suzuki and Brendan Gallagher also scored for the Canadiens, who secured back-to-back overtime wins. Guhle added an assist, and Sam Montembeault made 26 saves.
