NEW DELHI: The St. Louis Blues had a commanding 8-2 victory over the Colorado Avalanche, with Brayden Schenn and Pavel Buchnevich each securing hat tricks. Schenn, who also contributed an assist, now boasts four career hat tricks, while Buchnevich, who had two short-handed goals, has three career hat tricks. Torey Krug, Alexey Toropchenko, and Robert Thomas also made significant contributions for the Blues, and Jordan Binnington made 36 saves.

In overtime, the Montreal Canadiens clinched a 3-2 win against the Boston Bruins, with Kaiden Guhle's backhand goal at 2:13. Nick Suzuki and Brendan Gallagher also scored for the Canadiens, who secured back-to-back overtime wins. Guhle added an assist, and Sam Montembeault made 26 saves.

The Edmonton Oilers broke a four-game losing streak with a 4-1 victory over the Seattle Kraken, fueled by Zach Hyman's natural hat trick in the first period. Dylan Holloway also scored for the Oilers, and Stuart Skinner made 17 saves. Jaden Schwartz scored the lone goal for the Kraken.

Dallas Stars secured a 3-2 victory against the Winnipeg Jets, maintaining their top spot in the Central Division. Wyatt Johnston led the way with a goal and an assist, and goaltender Scott Wedgewood made 31 saves, including 15 in the third period.

The Ottawa Senators snapped a five-game home skid with a 4-1 win over the Calgary Flames. Drake Batherson contributed one goal and one assist, and goaltender Joonas Korpisalo made 24 saves. Dustin Wolf, in his first NHL game of the season, stopped 34 shots for the Flames, who have been without their No. 1 goalie Jacob Markstrom due to an undisclosed injury.

The Carolina Hurricanes shut out the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-0, with goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov recording his fifth career shutout. Sebastian Aho and Brent Burns each had a goal and an assist in the victory.

The Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Vancouver Canucks 5-2, with Noah Gregor scoring the go-ahead goal in the second period and adding an assist. J.T. Miller and Pius Suter scored for the Canucks, whose five-game winning streak came to an end.

The Washington Capitals claimed a 4-1 victory over the New York Islanders, with Nic Dowd and Aliaksei Protas ending their lengthy goal-scoring droughts in the second period. Alex Ovechkin contributed two goals as he closes in on Wayne Gretzky's all-time goal record.

The Pittsburgh Penguins blanked the Buffalo Sabres 4-0, with Erik Karlsson scoring twice and goaltender Tristan Jarry stopping all 35 shots faced. It was Jarry's league-leading third shutout of the season.

The Arizona Coyotes outscored the Nashville Predators 7-5, with Michael Carcone scoring twice, including the game-winning goal. Filip Forsberg had two goals for the Predators.


The Philadelphia Flyers snapped the Los Angeles Kings' eight-game point streak with a 4-2 victory. Morgan Frost scored two goals, and Cal Petersen made 35 saves for the Flyers, while Adrian Kempe and Carl Grundstrom scored for the Kings.
