Mooda is a 21-year-old Canadian content creator best known for streaming games like Valorant, Rainbow Six Siege, and Rocket League. He has built a strong following online with his regular live streams and collaborations with other popular creators.
Recently, Mooda found himself in the spotlight for a different reason. He received a seven-day ban from Riot Games on April 8, 2026, after the company reviewed his behavior during a live Valorant stream. According to Riot, the ban was linked to comments that violated their child safety rules. The moment quickly spread online after he read the official email during a stream with Stable Ronaldo, making the situation widely discussed.
Mooda explains Riot Games ban during livestream with Stable Ronaldo as controversial joke leads to strict action
During the stream, Mooda shared details from Riot Games’ email. The company said they found “multiple violations” of their terms. One part of the email clearly stated, “Specifically, you made references to possession of child sexual abuse material, which violates our Child Safety Policy.”
Riot also added that this was not just a small warning. They said future issues could lead to a permanent ban and that he is now removed from any marketing opportunities linked with them.
As the stream continued, Mooda tried to explain what actually happened. He said the ban came from a joke he made while playing. According to him, it was related to ordering pizza and referencing a known case, but he claimed he did not fully understand how serious it sounded.
He said, “In game I made a Epstein pizza joke and I got banned for it. I said I’m going to order some pizza and hinted like I’m Epstein and I got banned for that.”
At that point, Stable Ronaldo stepped in and pointed out that the wording could easily be taken the wrong way. He suggested that the reference might be linked to something very sensitive, which is why Riot reacted strongly.
Mooda seemed surprised during the conversation. He said he did not know the deeper meaning behind what he said and insisted that he did not intend to cross any line. Still, the damage was already done, and Riot’s decision stayed in place.
The moment has started a bigger discussion online about how streamers speak during live broadcasts. Many viewers believe that even simple jokes about sensitive subjects should be considered serious matters. Mooda has built a dedicated fan base which currently exceeds 600000 Twitch followers while he continues to grow his presence on YouTube and TikTok.
He works with different streaming content creators to create content with Stable Ronaldo and other creators. The present circumstances need us to evaluate his future activities because we are uncertain about how this event will affect his upcoming content creation process.
