Several planes on Friday had to abort their landings at Fukuoka airport in Japan due to strong winds from typhoon Shanshan.

In a viral video, Peach Aviation MM523 plane can be seen taking off after failing in its attempt to land in Fukuoka.


Typhoon Shanshan is expected to reach Tokyo this weekend, disrupting travel with hundreds of flight cancellations and some high-speed train suspensions.

Though Typhoon Shanshan has weakened to a severe tropical storm but it remains one of the strongest to hit the country in decades

Authorities issued the highest level alert, urging over five million people in southern Japan to evacuate.
The storm has resulted in at least four deaths, and hundreds of thousands of homes are without power.
