​‘American Murder: Gabby Petito’

The first on the list is ‘American Murder: Gabby Petito’, which revolves around the case of missing vlogger Gabby Petito, who disappeared in 2021. She was on a cross-country road trip with her fiancé, Brian Laundrie at the time. When he returned without her and she stopped responding, her parents reached out to the authorities in order to get to the bottom of it all. The three-part docuseries chronicles what happened to her and how the case was approached.

‘Amy Bradley Is Missing’

‘Amy Bradley Is Missing’ is a series exploring the college graduate’s disappearance after she boarded a cruise ship to the Caribbean. She was on a vacation after college with her parents, Ron and Iva Bradley, as well as her younger brother, Brad. This is a three-part documentary on Netflix that explores how she vanished after she was last seen by anyone in the balcony area of her room.

​‘Cold Case: Who Killed JonBenét Ramsey’

This series is about the case of JonBenét, the 6-year-old who had disappeared from her home a day after Christmas in 1996. Later on, her father, Jon, found her murdered body in the basement of their own home. At the time, the case became a huge media spectacle, and many people religiously followed to uncover what happened to the 6 year old kid. Till this date, the case of her murder remains unsolved, and this series explores all of the different angles that the case was explored in.

‘The Keepers’

‘The Keepers’ is about a 26 year old nun in 1969, Sister Cathy, who was brutally murdered. Her death sparked public outrage, with many, including her students at Archbishop Keough High School, left wondering what actually happened to her. The series explores more into her mysterious passing and what really happened. It also covers aspects of the case that were not fully discussed and explored.

‘The Man with 1000 Kids’

This limited series tells the tale of scammer Jonathan Meijer, who travelled around the world to donate his sperm to countless clinics as well as via private donations. The series contains interviews and excerpts from families that alleged that he had deceived them, and that he had promised to donate only to a handful of families. As per the series, he is said to have fathered more than 3000 children across the world.

‘The Menendez Brothers’

This limited series is about Erik and Lyle Menendez in 1996, who were convicted of murdering their parents, Kitty and Jose. It was one of the most publicized trials of the time and was heavily covered by the media. The series also shows interviews from the brothers themselves as they recounted what happened on the day itself almost 30 years later. Interviews with their cousin Diane Vander Molen and the prosecutor in the Menendez case, Pamela Bozanich, are also included in the series.
