Possibly one of the best and most unique stories to exist as of right now, this is one of the best Korean dramas that celebrates a mother's love. It beautifully showcases her dedication towards her child in the most unique way. Not only that, but it explores the concept of stepmothers as well, and that too in a positive light. The plotline follows GG as a ghost who is not ready to leave the realm of the living because she wants to watch her grow old. She watches her daughter and stays close to her. One day, while cursing out God for her pain and suffering, she is granted a wish to turn back human, but only for a few days, and with a twist that she has to regain her old place beside her husband, who has now remarried.

Angry Mom

'Angry Mom' is another such drama that provides comedic relief and portrays the role of a mother in our lives. It tests the boundaries of what it means to be a parent and shows us just how far a mother is willing to go in order to protect her daughter from anything. The story follows Jo Gang Ja, who gives up her rowdy lifestyle after her daughter is born in order to raise her properly. Later, however, when her daughter is bullied when she grows old and the school as well as the law refuse to take action, she takes matters into her own hands and transforms into a high school girl to take revenge and punish those bullies.

It celebrates a mother and her willingness to do anything for her daughter. The story revolves around the lives of single mother Hye Soo, her daughter Eun Sung, and Ji Hun. Hye Soo only has a few months left, and after her husband's death, she's the only one left for her daughter. In order to secure her daughter's future while she's still there, Hye Soo agrees to get into a marriage contract with Ji Hun.

While this thriller and action-packed drama may not seem like it at first, the centric theme beyond all the superpowers relies on a mother's love and dedication towards protecting her son. The plotline revolves around a secret sector of the government that features employees that have superpowers like flying, extreme strength, speed, etc. It focuses on Lee Mi Hyun, a former employee of this sector who has been hiding from the government to keep her son Kim Bong Seok safe.
