Moon Ga Young and Choi Hyun Wook CONFIRMED as leads for romance drama 'Black Salt Dragon'

Moon Ga Young and Choi Hyun Wook are set to ignite screens with their upcoming roles in the highly anticipated drama ‘Black Salt Dragon’, also known as ‘He’s the Black Dragon’. The announcement, made official on July 12 by the production house, confirms their casting for a series slated to premiere in the first half of 2025.

Adapted from a popular webtoon, ‘Black Salt Dragon’ is centered on the intertwined lives of Baek Soo Jung and Ban Joo Yeon. Their story begins in their school days, where they first connect through their online game avatars. Fate takes a twist when, 16 years later, they encounter each other again in real life - this time as boss and employee.

Moon Ga Young takes on the role of Baek Soo Jung, a diligent and gifted professional known for her resilience and willingness to confront challenges head-on. Her tenacity often clashes with Ban Joo Yeon, portrayed by Choi Hyun Wook, the perfectionist heir to a corporate empire. Joo Yeon, haunted by a past rejection stemming from their online gaming days, now navigates life as the director of a strategic division at Yongsung Department Store.
