From taking over the top trends on social media to getting up billboard messages to showing off their BTS inspired tattoos and even making donations to various charitable causes, here's how fans made JungKook's birthday a memorable one.

BTS stars come together to wish JungKook on his birthday

BTS ARMY was in for a treat as bandmembers RM, J-Hope, Jimin took to social media to wish the birthday boys with some never-before-seen photos. Sending their best wishes for the youngest star of their band, the boys shared some selfies that brought out JungKook's goofy side. J-Hope, on the other hand, had fans going "Aww" when he pieced together a DIY cake and surprised his "young one" with it as he held a LIVE broadcast with fans.

ARMY start donation drives to join JungKook in making the world a better place

From wildlife conservation to Afghan relief and rehabilitation, Covid-19 aid to funding projects for the needy, BTS ARMY made JungKook proud by pooling together their funds for good causes. In a bid to make the world a better place for all, fans reportedly made huge donations on behalf of JungKook to projects that are close to his heart.

​JungKook creates world records on his birthday

JK had a record-breaking start to his birthday celebrations. He is reportedly the only Korean idol who has been promoted at Italy’s Duomo Di Milano cathedral. He is also the first artist to feature simultaneously on Korea’s top 5 fashion magazines. On a personal note, the singer reached a new high when his song, ‘Stay’ crossed the 500,000 mark on Shazam, making him the first K-pop star to achieve this feat. Meanwhile, BTS' 'Not Today' became their 12th MV to surpass 500 million views on YouTube.

ARMY show off their ink as they trend #TattoosForKoo

In celebration of their idol's birthday, BTS fans started trending the hashtag #TattoosForKoo. Fans took to social media to share photos of their impressive and creative tattoos inspired by some of BTS' top songs. Keeping in mind JungKook's love for tattoos, this was a special way of sharing their love for body art with the birthday boy.

JungKook becomes first K-Pop star to get his billboard at a bus stop in India

JungKook became the first K-Pop star in India to get his own billboard in India. The Indian BTS ARMY made headlines today as they rented a bus stand in Mumbai, to display banners of the superstar. The banners highlight JungKook's versatility as a singer, dancer, rapper, composer, producer, director and sportsman.

The Bangtan boys made headlines early this year when they sent their love and prayers to the people of India while the country went through its second wave of covid-19.
