All you need to know about Kangana Ranaut’s show ‘Lock Upp’

Kangana Ranaut is all set to debut on OTT with something absolutely hatke! The actress, who often hits the headlines for controversies, is making sure that her show is also in the news for its spicy concept and interesting contestants. MX Player’s ‘Lock Upp’ will be hosted by Kangana, who has joined forces with filmmaker Ekta Kapoor for this reality show. Here’s all you need to know about this much-talked about OTT show.

As the name suggests, 16 contestants will be locked up with Kangana Ranaut playing the host. Ekta Kapoor assured that the format of this OTT show has not been inspired from any international show. She also revealed that 50% of the power to eliminate or keep a contestant will lie with Kangana. Contestants in ‘Lock Upp’ will have to battle it out for survival over 72 days.

This celebrity based show contestants have not been revealed yet but several names have cropped up recently. The makers have reportedly roped in Sushmita Sen’s former boyfriend Rohman Shawl for this reality show. Shehnaaz Gill, who won hearts with her participation in ‘Bigg Boss 13’, has also emerged as a strong contender for this show. While Poonam Pandey is also rumoured to have signed up to stir some controversy in ‘Lock Upp’. Urfi Javed, Anushka Sen and Mallika Sherawat have also been associated with the show but there has been no confirmation on the same.
