​‘Wednesday’ Season 2, Part 1 - 6th August

‘Wednesday’ follows the life of the eccentric Wednesday Addams, as she returns to Nevermore Academy for a much more complicated second year, where her powers glitch. She rushes to alter fate as new supernatural dangers and family secrets emerge, all the while being haunted by visions of her friend’s Enid's death. The season premieres in two parts: August 6 and September 3, 2025 and picks off right where season 1 left off, on a cliffhanger. The quirky series is set to release on 6th August, 2025 on Netflix.

​‘The Pickup’ - 6th August

‘The Pickup’ is an upcoming action-comedy heist film. When drivers Russell (Eddie Murphy) and Travis (Pete Davidson) are ambushed by a criminal group leader by Zoe (Keke Palmer), what starts off as a regular armored-truck cash pickup turns into chaos. Zoe uses Travis's previous relationship as leverage and threatens Russell's wife (Eva Longoria) to force them into a $60 million casino heist. The mismatched pair must deal with a day that goes completely out of control as personalities clash and dangers escalate. The action-comedy is set to release on Amazon Prime Video, on 6th August, 2025.

​‘Taurasi’ - 7th August

The three-part docu-series details the remarkable journey of WNBA legend Diana Taurasi, whose unending quest for greatness has gone beyond the boundaries of sport—including three NCAA championships with the University of Connecticut, three WNBA titles with the Phoenix Mercury, six Olympic gold medals, and six EuroLeague crowns. It shows courage, intelligence, and authenticity through candid interviews with Taurasi, Sue Bird, Geno Auriemma, and others. The blockbuster docu-series is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video, on 7th August 2025.

​‘Salakaar’ - 8th August

Inspired by real events, ‘Salakaar’ is a thriller spy blockbuster series. Following two timelines of 1978 and 2025, the series shows Indian intelligence's secret mission, set against the backdrop of an era marked by heightened nuclear tension between the two nations. The drama introduces a determined Indian spy agent who embarks on a dangerous undercover mission, to disrupt Pakistan's alleged first nuclear weapon program. With Naveen Kasturia as an Indian spy planted in Pakistan to bring valuable information, Mouni Roy is seen supporting the mission in a key role. The spy thriller will be released on 8th August 2025, on Jio Hotstar.

​‘Blood Brothers: Bara Naga’ - 10th August

‘Blood Brothers: Bara Naga’ is a 2025 Malaysian thriller action film, which follows the life of Ariff, a devoted bodyguard, is charged with betraying Dato Zul, a well-known person who previously supported him. To prove his innocence, Ariff turns to Jaki, his estranged brother. As he attempts to clear his name, Ariff is pursued by Ghaz, a former close friend and the head of an elite security squad. Once considered as "Blood Brothers," their conflicts develops into one centered on loyalty, trust, and individual redemption. Ariff must overcome emotional turmoil and physical threats in order to discover the truth, which are hidden in deception and hidden motives. The thrilling drama is set to premiere on Netflix, on 10th August 2025.
