The wait for the fans of 'Outlander' is finally over because Season 7 Part 2 is all set to return on November 22, 2024. Months have gone by and, yes, Starz has come out with the highly exciting new trailer that gives a sneak peek of what is next. From this season, Claire and Jamie Fraser will be headed back to Scotland, which is now their homeland, while their daughter Brianna and her husband Roger MacKenzie have been left in two different time frames. New episodes will detail the dangers and emotional struggles each member of the Fraser family experiences.

The epic saga of 'Outlander' will finally end with its eighth and final season. One of the loudest voices requesting the show's finality after Season 8 came from Jamie Fraser himself, Sam Heughan. However, before it all drifts into the horizon forever, the Frasers will face one more stormy onslaught-testing their relationships instead of themselves. Secrets will come out; allegiances will be shifted; and for the first time ever, Claire and Jamie's marriage will be tested with truth-telling. This time love spanning centuries again will make them strong, stay strong, and lift above all hardships.
Despite the popularity of the series for nearly ten years, the show ending will not be aligned with the books by Diana Gabaldon. As per Gabaldon, it would be technically impossible to include some material in the last few episodes of the show considering the time constraints and constraints imposed by the last couple of novels in her book series. Nonetheless, the final episodes will still look toward a sense of closure for the Fraser family and their epic journey.

Though the program is coming to an end, the fans of the show will be able to look forward to a prequel series called 'Outlander: Blood of My Blood', focusing on the parent story of Jamie and Claire. It is believed that this will premiere in 2025, keeping the Outlander universe alive a little while longer.
