‘When you wish for winters, but it rains instead’: Mumbaikars react to unseasonal rainfall
The month of December began on a rainy note for Mumbaikars breaking two records. Several parts of Mumbai and its suburbs witnessed unseasonal
Apart from recording the second highest 24 hour rain for the month , the maximum temperatures also witnessed a steep dip of nine degrees in one day.
Moderate rains are expected to continue till the weekend. The rainfall is the result of a cyclonic circulation over southeast Arabian sea.
A yellow alert has been issued for Mumbai, Thane and Palghar for Wednesday.
Mumbaikars, who were eagerly awaiting for winters to arrive, posted memes on social media after witnessing unseasonal rainfall.
