In the breathtaking video posted by handle ‘safarnamabynidhi’ recently, the
“What a rare sight to see a peacock in a city like Delhi. I’ve been seeing these for over a decade now. They’re beautiful, just so beautiful,” Nidhi captioned the video. The song ‘Dekha Ek Khwab’ from the movie Silsila can be heard playing in the background.
The short clip featuring India’s national bird has gone viral, amassed close to 10 million views and more than 7 lakh likes on Instagram so far.
“I have been living here for the last 10 years. Every year during the end of May peacocks visit and stay in our neighbourhood till October!” read the text superimposed on Nidhi’s video.
Netizens could’t stop gushing over the beautiful and jaw-dropping sight of a gorgeous peacock soaring above residences; perching, springing and flying from one lush green plant to another, and offering a glorious view of its entire wingspan.
