Watch: Video of Bengaluru school girls fighting aggressively goes viral, netizens react

Social media was rife with shock on Wednesday as undated and unverified videos of Bengaluru school girls fighting with each other emerged on social media.

While one group of girls is dressed in school uniform, others are wearing casual clothes.



The video shows several groups of girls fighting violently by pulling each other’s hair, pushing, punching, kicking and thrashing each other with baseball sticks. In the middle of the altercation, one of the girls grabs another girl’s hair and flings her on the pavement. The girl hits the pavement and slams onto a nearby railing.


A baseball bat is seen passing hands to hit each other. A lot of yelling and screaming could be heard in the background of the video as the girls fight each other aggressively. The fighting then turns dangerously violent before onlookers rush to stop the fight.


While it is still unsure when the incident took place and what exactly started the street brawl, rumours doing the rounds on social media claim that the altercation happened over a boy. Unconfirmed sources claim his name to be Yogesh.



Others alleged that the cause behind the incident was due to a feud between two girls over one of their boyfriends.
