“Go! Go! Go! Go!," an officer yelled as they dragged the pilot out of the airplane and away from the oncoming train., CNN reported.

"Foothill Division Officers displayed heroism and quick action by saving the life of a pilot who made an emergency landing on the railroad tracks at San Fernando Rd. and Osborne St., just before an oncoming train collided with the aircraft," the
Officer Damian Castro, one of the officers who rescued, told CNN that he didn't have a second to think during the rescue. "It happened so fast, we didn't really have that much time to think," he said. "All I could think was try to get this man to safety, didn't really want to look back to see how far the train was coming, you could hear it coming."
"It wasn't until I heard one of my coworkers behind me say, 'The train is coming and we need to get him out now,'" Officer Christopher Aboyte told CNN.
The prompt response by an officer in Los Angeles, California has saved the life of a pilot which is much appreciated.
The pilot was taken to a hospital. The Los Angeles Times reports said that he was in stable condition as of Sunday evening.
