South African fielder Keegan Petersen pulled off an absolute ripper at leg slip on Thursday off the bowling of left-arm pacer Marco Jansen to send India’s No. 3 Cheteshwar Pujara back to dressing room.

Following Pujara’s dismissal, Indian middle-order batsman Ajinkya Rahane too got out after scoring just a single.

Rahane gloved a length delivery from Kagiso Rabada to South African skipper Dean Elgar, who completed the catch at first slip on the rebound.


Yet another low score by Indian middle-order veterans, who are now referred mockingly as ‘Pu-Rane’ by Indian fans, was enough to set the social media abuzz with memes targeting the duo.
