Sunrisers Hyderabad

(SRH) on Monday lost their second consecutive IPL match of the season which continues to keep them at the bottom of the IPL 2022 points table. The story is no different from the previous IPL season, where they had finished last in the league stage.

IPL 2021 was marred by controversy for SRH, as it dropped captain David Warner midway during the season, eventually choosing not to retain him ahead of the auctions.

Having let go off Warner, Rashid Khan, Jason Holder, Johnny Baistow (all proven performers for SRH), they started afresh this year by spending big money on the likes of West Indies' Nicholas Pooran, uncapped Indian player Abhishek Sharma. Unfortunately both of them have not lived up to their price tags.


After losing the first game, SRH came back well in their second match but it was not good enough for them to cross the line. They retained the team that did duty in the opener - and like in the first game Kane Williamson decided to field - but looked good only in parts at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Monday.


With their team suffering back to back losses and looking even worse than it was during the last season, SRH fans have lost all their patience and are now roasting the
