Microsoft-backed artificial intelligence research startup OpenAI launched the AI chatbot ChatGPT in November 2022. Since its launch, the chatbot has gone viral for its ability to process prompts and deliver human-like writings including -- essays, articles, jokes, job applications and even poems.
According to a report by Reuters, analysts have said that the popular AI chatbot has reached 100 million users within two months of its release. As per the report, an analysis conducted by data firm Similarweb claims that in January, ChatGPT had about 590 million visits from 100 million unique users.
Meanwhile, analysts at the investment bank UBS stated that the rate of growth was “unprecedented” for any consumer app.
But instead of using the artificial intelligence-based writing tool 'chat robot' for constructive purposes, netizens are having all kinds of weird conversations by asking random and bizarre questions. Many users are even posting screengrabs of their engagement with ChatGPT and others are having a field day laughing.
For instance, a user asked ChatGPT “what came first, chicken or eggs?”, to which the chat robot replied “Network Error”.
Some users are making the ‘chat robot’ roll back its answers and exposing its weaknesses. “Our jobs are safe,” the user quipped after successfully tricking the bot.
Another user tricked ChatGPT into accepting that ‘wives are always right’
ChatGPT is also owning some conversations
Some screengrabs are surely fake yet funny
‘Inherent bias in ChatGPT via programming’
Though the joke is on the users fooling around
ChatGPT will have the final laugh though
There, he said it
