In a bid to gain traction in Chhattisgarh, Arvind Kejriwal, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party, made a significant announcement on Saturday. He outlined ten commitments for the upcoming assembly elections in the Congress-administered state. These commitments include provisions for free electricity, a monthly 'samman rashi' for women, and a monthly stipend of Rs 3,000 for the unemployed. During an AAP workers' convention in the area, the Delhi Chief Minister affirmed that his party had successfully honored these promises in Delhi and Punjab. He pledged that if AAP were to assume power in Chhattisgarh, they would do the same. Kejriwal emphasized that these guarantees weren't mere empty election promises or 'sankalp patra'; he was willing to stand by them, even if it meant making the ultimate sacrifice.
