Ranveer Singh row escalates as court calls apology fake, seeks affidavit and temple visit

Actor Ranveer Singh is facing legal scrutiny after remarks made during a public event drew criticism for allegedly hurting religious sentiments. The Karnataka High Court has termed his earlier apology “insincere” and directed him to submit an unconditional affidavit. His legal team has also indicated a proposed visit to the Chamundi Hills Temple. The controversy stems from his on-stage reference to a sacred tradition depicted in Kantara: Chapter 1. The matter is scheduled for further hearing on April 10.
